ABOUT THE MONKEY TREE
Following an extensive redevelopment The Monkey Tree has now reopened. Sitting in the heart of West Bridgford the a la carte restaurant, ever popular bar and heated outside terrace now truly look the part.
The Monkey Tree is featured in the 2007 Michelin Guide and will open from 8am for breakfast and provide food throughout the day in bar and restaurant areas. Whether it’s a sandwich or a five course gourmet meal it will be prepared by chefs with proven ability at mixing world wide cuisine with home made comforts.
It will also act as a welcome watering hole for thirsty Bridgfordians and visitors alike serving a range of fine wines, speciality ales, cocktails, its own blend of coffee, freshly made smoothies alongside the usual range of beers, house wines, spirits and soft drinks.
There will be some live music starting with Roy De Wired on New Years Eve and including a regular Sunday performance from England Cricketer Graeme Swann with his rather cosily named band "Dr Comfort and the Lurid Revelations"
